EMC can arrange for tailored city/area orientation tours to give relocating families an introduction to the day to day life in Jakarta and Indonesia.  Places visited are frequented by expatriates and their families. 

If this is a familiarization trip, focus is placed upon the important decisions which will affect the client’s future needs. 

Specific agenda items during an Orientation will include:

• Location of suburbs and introduction to the traffic.
• How to get around and what to know.
• Shopping and dining.
• Medical facilities.
• Local markets, departments stores and other shopping establishments popular with expatriates.
• Leisure activities, social and volunteer opportunities, education and recreation facilities.
• Safety information.  Do’s and don’t.
• Tipping information, bargaining practices.

Transportation and lunch/refreshment are provided by EMC during the Orientation programme.
